Easter is a bit weird in the Southern Hemisphere – as the majority of images associated with Easter relate to Spring . . . and down here we’re in the middle of Autumn.
Plus in Australia rabbits/bunnies are not so popular
as they have caused immeasurable damage to our flora, in the past 200 years.
But all that aside – Easter is the longest weekend of the whole year and a LOT of families use it as the impetus to go on a four day camping trip. Escaping to the bush somewhere with tents, swags and lots of water. Let me tell you – hot cross buns heated on an open fire, slathered with real butter on Easter Sunday, is pretty cool.
So enjoy my Southern Hemisphere Easter . . .
